До уваги танцюристів вікових категорій Юніори 2 та Дорослі: 8-9 листопада 2008р. в м. Харкові в рамках змагань "Prolisok Cup - 2008" відбудуться Відбіркові змагання ВСГОСТ в категорії Дорослі Стандарт на IDSF WORLD CUP STANDARD (Riga, Latvia, 19.12.2008) та в категорії Юніори 2 Латина на IDSF WORLD JUNIOR 2 LATIN (Bassano del Grappa, Italy, 14.02.2009)

September, 13th-14th in Gomel (Bilorussia) took place "V International Dance Festival "Sozhski Karagod" and runs IDSF International Open Latin and IDSF Open Standard.

Congratulations for two UDB couples with their great results on these competitions:

Kravchuk Oleksandr - Getsko Olesya: 3rd place - IDSF International Open Latin and 2nd place -  IDSF Open Standard.

Portanenko Stanislav - Kolyada Nataliya: 4th place - IDSF Open Standard.

September, 6th in Cervia, Italy runs IDSF Open Latin. 69th dancing couples from 18th different countries tooks part in this competitions.

Congratulations to dance couple Liliya Podkopaeva - Sergiy Kostetskyy with excellent results on "Eurovision Danct Contest 2008" - 3rd place. "Eurovision Dance Contest 2008" runs September 6th in Glasgo (Scotland). The winner is dancing couple, which represets Poland, Marcin Mrochek - Edita Herbush with 154 points. Second place took russian couple Tetyana Navka - Oleksandr Litvinenko with 121 point. 6-8 червня 2008 року у місті Ольштин (Польща) відбулися традиційні міжнародні змагання XV Supadance Polish Open Championships. Вітаємо танцювальні пари УРТ з блискучими результатами в категорії IDSF International Open – Latin (всього-52 учасника).

IPDSC EUROPEAN STANDARD CHAMPIONSHIP (01.06.2008, Kiev (Ukraine))

June 1^st, 2008, IPDSC European Standard Championship - 2008 was held for the first time in Ukraine in "ACCO International" Exhibition Center, situated in the centre of  Kyiv - capital of Ukraine. 14 couples from Austria, Georgia, Italy, Russia and Ukraine took part in this important event. The panel of adjudicators was:

Official opening of the Championship begins at 4 pm. Accompanied by Ukrainian hits, professional couples - participants came out for parade, holding national flags of the countries they were representing. There was a ceremonial representation of each professional couple and adjudicators of the Championship.
Organizers: Irena Bous' (UDB President) and Dmytro Bazela (UDB Vice-president, President of Children Dance Sport Club "Kaleidoscope") welcomed all the participants and guests of the Championship. Performance of Ukrainian national anthem became the apotheosis of the Opening ceremony.Professional couples-participants were of high professional level.  After a very good performance from all the couples, results were:

2^nd place Isaia Berardi - Cinzia Birareli (Italy)                              

3^rd place Angelo Bianco - Monica Ferriero (Italy)

6^th place Maurizio Circelli - Carolina Tassi (Italy)                           

A hall welcomed winners upright under the national anthem of Russia.  The European Champions - 2008  Alexey Galchun - Tatiana Demina  danced their dance of winners - foxtrot. At the ceremonial dinner after the Championship, couples and adjudicators thanked organizers for holding the Championship at the highest professional level and emphasized, that this was really ceremonial official event and they are proud to be participants of this Championship.
